LOCATION The Club is located right in the heart of Metro Manila in Mandaluyong City. It is about 500 meters away from the EDSA Shangri-la Hotel. There are several route to the club, whether your coming from the north or the south of Metro Manila. Private transportation, hotel car and taxi are the means of getting there. ABOUT THE CLUB Visitors to Wack Wack Golf & Country Club are assured a warm welcome, both on the golf course and in the Clubhouse. Wack Wack has two 18-hole golf courses, one is the internationally known East course where the big tournaments has been held like the Philippine Open and the World Cup of 1977. The East Course is a vast layout whose challenge lies in its water hazards, vast greens and length of its fairways. Its famous No. 16, a par 3, has been known to be a make-or-break hole. Plans are afoot to convert this course into a semi-all-weather course within the next couple of years without changing its basic character and original carabao grass fairways. The West Course, an all-weather par 72 championship course, shorter and less troublesome, draws the senior and female members of the club. With a fine Clubhouse, Wack Wack is almost complete with facilities according to exacting international standards. A must for tourist golfers. The green as of today is being maintained by a reputable company dedicated in preserving golf courses around the Philippine Island which is Sta. Elena Properties, Inc.. For those beginners in golf, professional trainers are also to be found here. With their easy to learn techniques you would most probably be a PRO-golfer in just one day. click here for the Club's History RESERVATIONS The club offers reservations only for tournaments that are sponsored by members of the club. International tournament reservations are also allowed but should be approved by the Board of Directors of the club. PROFESSIONAL SHOP The club pro-shop offers hottest innovations in the golf industry. The latest and best fashions in golf apparel and accessories. The pro-shop is being operated by friendly knowledgeable staff who can help you find the right equipment for your game - whether you're a beginner or a pro. Drivers, club sets, irons, putters, wedges, gloves, shoes, bags, carts, balls and clothing are ready and available for picking. DRESS On the course - appropriate golf attire is essential, golf shoes are to be worn, soft spikes is needed. In the clubhouse - smart casual wears are allowed. Jeans, sleeve-less shirts, slippers, for example are not permitted either in the clubhouse or on the golf courses. COURSE TOURS Course tours and tournaments are to be coordinated with the Sports & Games office and should be scheduled either via e-mail at sports@wackwack.com or through phone call.
